What do I do if I have received a defective item?

If you're having trouble with your new Apple product or believe it is defective, please immediately contact Apple Care to report your defective product.

Here you will be given expert advice on what to do with your device.

If you are asked to return your device, we ask that you follow the below steps:

- Go to My Account
- Select your new Apple product order
- Click 'Return Item'
- Select 'Dead on arrival from the returns reason dropdown menu

Once you notify us of your intent to return by following the above steps, we will provide you with a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number. It can take up to 1 working day before we will email your RMA to you. 

If you have been provided with a Case ID from Apple Care, please email the Case ID to us with your order number.

Once you have your RMA number, you will need to generate your returns label by visiting the Royal Mail website and booking your return.

Enter your RMA number in the customer reference section and reselect your return reason.

You will then be asked to fill out some details to create your return label.

We will provide full details on how to arrange the return in your RMA email.

Once you have your label, please return the product with the original receipt, original packaging and its included accessories to the address on the label.
