How do I create a backup on my Xbox console? 🎮
👇 To backup your data on your Xbox console, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Connect a USB storage device or an external hard drive to your console.
❗ Note that your USB device or external hard drive must be USB 3.0 or faster and have a capacity of at least 128GB or larger.
2️⃣ Press the Xbox home button to open the guide menu.
3️⃣ Then go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Back up & transfer > Back up my settings
4️⃣ Follow the on-screen instructions to save your backup to your USB or external hard drive.
How do I apply my backup to my Xbox console? 🎮
👇 To apply your backup to your current Xbox console, follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Connect your USB storage device or your external hard drive to your console.
2️⃣ Turn on your console.
3️⃣ Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.
4️⃣ Select Reset and keep my games and apps.
✅ This will reset your Xbox console's operating system by deleting any corrupted data without deleting your installed games or apps.
⚙ Once your data has been backed up, you'll need to restore the console back to its factory settings.
