❗ Make sure that your USB or external hard drive is formatted to FAT or exFAT and has a minimum storage capacity of 128GB.
1️⃣ Sync your Trophies first because they are not included in the data backup. Go to Trophies, press the OPTIONS button, and select Sync Trophies with PSN.
2️⃣ After syncing your Trophies insert your USB or external hard drive into your console.
3️⃣ Go to Settings > System > Back Up and Restore.
4️⃣ Select Back Up.
5️⃣ Confirm which data you'd like to back up. It's important to back up any saved data to avoid losing game progress.
6️⃣ Customise the backup file name and select Back Up.
7️⃣ Remove your USB or external hard drive.
How do I create a backup of data using the PlayStation Plus Cloud? 🎮

1️⃣ Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management
2️⃣ Choose Select Auto-Upload
3️⃣ Choose the data you'd like to be uploaded automatically to the PlayStation Plus Cloud
⚙ Once your data has been backed up, you'll need to restore the console back to its factory settings.
