I've got a message on my phone about the parts that have been used to refurbish it. What does this mean?

When we refurbish products to give them a new life, we might replace some parts to ensure they meet our quality standards before sending them out. While we often use genuine Apple parts, we sometimes opt for non-genuine ones to help keep our prices lower. This practice is quite common when refurbishing mobile phones.

Once a device is refurbished, it undergoes thorough testing with our 90 point diagnostic checks to confirm that everything is working properly.

After the launch of iOS 18 on iPhone, you might see various notifications during the setup process if non-genuine parts have been installed.

To remove these notifications, just follow the on-screen instructions, and they should clear up. You might encounter a message indicating that the parts couldn't be configured, which is an issue related to iOS 18 rather than the parts themselves. Once you address this notification, it will go away, and your device should operate smoothly.

Sometimes, you might not receive a notification, but you may notice in the settings that your phone has non-genuine parts. This is quite typical for refurbished phones, and rest assured, the device will function as intended.

If you encounter any problems with the functionality of the phone, remember that each one comes with a 12 month warranty!
